WHEN A CHILD PRAYS

There are times I want to quit, give up and let go.

There are times I question the value of my own dreams and aspirations.

There are times I lose faith in my own ways and methods.

There are times I just run out of steam, losing the strength to pursue and extent my tent.

There are times I just want to be a normal guy, an average Joe next door.

Yet when I take my children to bed and hear them pray for me to succeed on that very thing:

IT DOES SOMETHING TO ME!

I sometimes wonder why I even tell them what "Daddy" is up to;
But I have learnt that life's worth is in doing life together.

It just makes it all bigger than just me.
For me I would quit but for them, I can never give up.

When I feel tired and overwhelmed;
Somehow I suddenly feel refreshed, renewed and willing to keep at it.

I know God answers my children's prayers,
And wants to use me to strengthen their faith in Him.

When what they pray for happens,
Prayer becomes REAL and ceases to be a routine.

I will not give up and let them down;
I want them to know that Prayer Changes Everything!

Their everyday prayers,
Change my everyday life!

Because When A Child Prays, Heaven Listens!
