On Friday morning, I went out to play with the kids at the sports fields. I noticed this tree - fallen but not dead, what a lesson on resilience.
I took a photo and called it, "The Resilient Tree."
In life, situations and circumstances may trip us down; but like this tree, we should refuse this to be the end of our story.
It may slow us down for a bit, redirect our path and leave us scarred....yet, we should strive to bounce back with more ambition and determination.
The most significant predictor of success is resilience.
Why?
Because we are all bound to trip on our different journeys:
• relationship journeys,
• career journeys,
• entrepreneurship journeys,
• financial journeys,
• spiritual journeys,
• health journeys.
Whatever journey it might be, avoid to trip but if and when you do, like this tree - lie down for a moment, but spring back up stronger, more determined, more purposeful and more grounded.
When you stumble, make it part of the dance _- not a reason to leave the dance floor!
